GWUP - Two decades for science and critical thinking

Skeptiker - GWUP (openPR) - in the year 2007 the society celebrates its 20-year old anniversary for the scientific investigation of Parawissenschaften (GWUP). Thus the GWUP with seat makes critical information available about Parawissenschaften of the public in Rossdorf with Darmstadt for two decades as only organization of its kind in the German-speaking countries. The first meeting of the “Skeptiker” took place on 7 February 1987 in Darmstadt, the formal establishment of the GWUP on 11 October 1987 in Bonn. For 15 years it makes available to information in the Internet. Since 1999 the GWUP maintains it “center for science and critical thinking” as approach place for special inquiries.

Instructional contents must stand in agreement with the conditions of the science. Didactically necessary simplifications may not lead to the falsification. The offer at pseudowissenschaftlich esoterischen lehr and Lernmethoden like the Edu Kinestetik, which neurolinguistic programming or the Waldorf Pädagogik as well as to romantisierenden and/or mystifizierenden Erlebnispädagogik must stop are ordered.
