Refuge faithful wood to the new first chairman of the German section that internationally Coach Federation selected

(openPR) -- The Coaching federation ICF Germany again selected its family of five executive committee

- Certifying is for 2006 the yearly topic of the Coaching professional association

Berlin/Duesseldorf, 22. March 2006 - To the new first chairman of the German section that internationally Coach Federation (ICF) refuge faithful wood was selected. In Herold with Koblenz the resident 49-jährige Coach was determined with the periodical executive committee new election of the ICF Germany, which took place on past Friday in Duesseldorf, to the successor of the past first chairmen Sylvia Becker Hill. Faithful wood, which was responsible in the executive committee of the ICF Germany so far for the department finances/Controlling, answers for the range in its new office for guidance „contacts to politics and federations “.

To the second chairman - and thus to the successor of Felicitas Freiin of Elverfeldt - the professional association selected the Wiesbadener Coach Marius Hansa. Hansa, so far member of the executive committee, is now responsible for the contacts for the European level of the ICF as well as for marketing and public work. Further members of the again selected family of five executive committee are the Düsseldorfer Peter A. Fuhrmann (responsible for Corporate and Business Coaching), the citizen of Berlin Martin Jessen (member support) as well as Christa Schöning from Landstetten with Munich (finances/Controlling).

As central contents of the federation work for 2006 the new executive committee explained the topic certifying. The quality assurance of the Coaching work can be achieved only by a consistent Professionalisierung of the Coaching career profile, which presupposes again a neutral certifying. Those already 1998 imported three speed ICF certifying - it is not only internationally the furthest common, but also only Coaching certifying recognized world-wide - is for this the best suitable instrument. Their neutral character is ensured by the fact that their acquisition is not internationally bound for Coach Federation to a membership in that; rather also federation-independent Coachs as well as members of other federations could let themselves be certified by the ICF.

Internationally the Coach Federation (ICF) was created 1992 in the USA and is today with more than 9,500 members in 70 countries - under it 17 states of Europe - the largest international Non profit organization for professional Coachs. ICF Germany gives it since 2001, at present counts the German section of approximately 70 members. A condition of the ICF membership are proofs of founded Coaching training as well as the current activity as a Coach. Besides each ICF member is obligated to complete within three years one of the three ICF Zertifizierungsstufen. ICF certifying, already 1998 imported, is internationally the furthest common and at the same time only Coaching certifying recognized world-wide. In numerous international companies and organizations (for example IBM and NASA) a ICF certifying is a condition for the admission into the Coaching pool. Certifying is not bound to a membership; also federation-independent Coachs as well as members of other federations can let themselves be certified by the ICF. It serves the neutrality of the ICF also that the federation does not operate own institutes for training.
