(openPR) - American German Business club Munich selects new presidents - Simon Jones takes over the presidency for the years 2007-08
Munich, 26 February 2007. After two successful years Patrick Brennan, the former president of the American German Business club Germany (AGBC Germany) passed, Chapter on Munich, the staff to Simon Jones. Jones, which functioned already two years as a vice-president of the club, was selected at the beginning of of February 2007 unanimously to the new president. With him now for the first time a non--American holds the presidency of a local federation in the history of the AGBC.
The Chapter Munich of the American German Business club Germany is with more than 200 members the second largest local federation in Germany. Here, like also into the other one that altogether nine local federations, the focus lies to develop in a ungezwungenen atmosphere personal relations between the representatives of American enterprises in Germany and the German commercial world and strengthen. The principle „Networking “is largely written here.
Simon Jones, general manager of the German address of an US-American PR-agency, will take over the presidency of the AGBC, now for the years 2007 and 2008 Chapter Munich. „The choice to the new president fulfills me with pride and joy “, says Jones. „During my two-year activity as Vice President Communication I could already build in various regard bridges over the Atlantic and support the members of the local federation Munich to attach and maintain interesting contacts. I look forward to the coming years, in which I will begin also further my Kraft to support the goals of the AGBC. “
The Chapter Munich offers Networking Meetings on each last Wednesday of the monthly (exceptions: July, August, Decembers), to which interesting guest speakers are invited - on 28 February this is US Consul general Eric G. Over the American German Business club
The American German Business club (AGBC) is a private, non-profit and international organization, which was created 1994 by a small group of American businessmen in Bonn. The members originate from different economic sectors such as financial system, telecommunications, media, maintenance, jurisprudence, travel, building and real estate industry, management consultation, education, insurance, publishing trade as well as marketing, advertising and PR-agencies and language services. The goal of the AGBC is it to promote the structure of networks between American and German businessmen. In a ungezwungenen atmosphere personal relations can develop. The individual local federations organize Luncheons, Dinners, receipts and table reserved for regulars evenings. Often speakers are invited, who report to economiceconomics topics. The American German Business club is open for prospective customers of all nationalities, which support its goals. All meetings take place in English language.
