(openPR) - DoubleClick and TOMORROW FOCUS AG with common investigation to Rich Media Werbeformaten
Frankfurt, 21 February 2007 - videos are not from the Internet any more to exclude - shows not only the success history of Web portals such as YouTube or MyVideo from Germany, but also a current investigation of DoubleClick and the TOMORROW FOCUS AG. In „the takeGas study appeared now “aimed the acceptance of different Rich Media Werbeformate and in particular the effect of videos in the Internet were examined.
For this purpose an on-line campaign for a fictitious product was developed: takeGAS. With takeGAS it should concern a fuel additive in pill form, which the range of a car per tank filling increases significantly. For the campaign particularly Flash animated medium Rectangles, Flash Layer and video Spots developed and to selected sides of the TOMORROW FOCUS AG such as Amica.de, Chip.de, Focus.de, Max.de or Playboy.de switched.
By the investigation of the period spent of the users with the videos one became clear in the campaign process: Videos are not only accepted in the advertising employment by the users, but also are honored with dream ratios. The 30 seconds of long Kurzgeschichten by Videostream produced an amazing attention: By in the 14tägigen Werbeflight delivered 1,6 million videos on the advertising media of the TOMOROW FOCUS AG Internet-typical lengths of 10 seconds of 74 per cent and 20 seconds of scarcely half (47 per cent) the user were seen. 252,790 videos were seen from beginning to end. That corresponds to a spectator ratio of 15,1 per cent - fantastic numbers in the comparison to the reality on the classical television.
„Video Spots in the Internet stand for a trend, which will lastingly change the medium industry. Humans spend ever more time in the net and not before the television.
