Dübener heath nominates fish eagle station for memory medal

(openPR) - the restaurants group of actions of LEADER+ for the anhaltischen part of the Dübener heath has the two projects Fischadlerbeobachtungasstation in the house at the lake in Schlaitz (circle bitter field) and barrier suitor ox head (circle Wittenberg) for the LEADER+ - memory medal of the country Saxonia-Anhalt suggested. The projects are considered as particularly interesting and innovative and take a key position in the nature park Dübener heath.

With the fish eagle observation station visitors can pursue inclinable camera, which was installed in the proximity of an eagle refuge in the former open mining circular block, with the help of swivel and 24 hours long the life of the fish eagles on a large plasma panel. The station was opened in the spring and led to a visitor attack in the environmental education center.

At the ox head a barrier-free experience station for humans with a handicap developed. They can seize nature with their senses now. Sehbehinderte and wheelchair users, families with buggies as well as groups of moving with Handicap feel the experience wood. Tree disks of in the Dübener heath growing trees, curiosities of nature, model representations for resin production and the unmistakable registration numbers of the beaver, the symbol figure of the nature park, are there experiencable.

In November the Ministry for agriculture and environment becomes the medal in the context of a LEADER+ - manager meeting assign. In Saxonia-Anhalt there are ten restaurants groups of actions of the European Union community initiative LEADER+, which can submit suggestions. The nature park Dübener heath is of 123 national natural landscapes. Under this roof mark are united 14 national parks, 14 biosphere reservations and 96 nature parks. It covers 75,000 hectares of total area in Saxonia and Saxonia-Anhalt and is the largest coherent mixed woodland area in Central Germany.
