The Baynes Sund is between the eastern side of Vancouver Iceland and the western coastal regions of Denman Iceland and the cultivation of shellfish as the most productive location at the coasts of British Colombia is evaluated. With the extension of the Hindo Creek farm and the now recent expansion of the Deep Bay farm taken place recently, Edgewater Foods Inc. orders. now over 73 hectares of Akquakultur waters alone in the Baynes Sund.

Further breed waters in the order of magnitude from 375 hectares are 10 minutes north the company headquarters. This area has a yearly capacity of 100 millions Scallops, presupposed Iceland Scallops receives also for this area the concession from the government. This fifth area, which is at the west coast of Vancouver Iceland, is at present not yet developed.
