HALCON Anwenderkonferenz in Yokohama: more than 300 participants from Germany, Japan and further asiatic countries. (openPR) - from cause of ten-year co-operation between the MVTec software GmbH (Munich) and their exclusive selling partner in Japan, LinX (Yokohama), an international HALCON Anwenderkonferenz in Yokohama took place on 30 January 2007. German and Japanese companies of world rank spoke, as they use their image processing applications by HALCON successfully in production.

More than 300 Entscheider and engineers from the German and Japanese industry as well as further asiatic countries had come to Yokohama, in order to attend the anniversary meeting and to present their newest developments. Among them were lectures of Bosch, Canon, Honda and Rodenstock. All companies use the software library HALCON von MVTec, in order to solve their mostly very fastidious image processing problems, which require a high measure of creativity.

In addition the managing directors of MVTec presented and the president of LinX, Dr. Wolfgang cornerstone, Dr. Olaf whisper and Kei Murakami, how for their part the advancement of the industriellen image processing was to be advanced in the future and which fire-new possibilities for the industry will arise as a result of it. Also first views were permitted on the HALCON version 8.0, which will come in the summer 2007 on the market. Here above all the special possibilities in the 3D-Robotik as well as the world-wide singular development environment of HALCON 8,0 might have interested the listeners.
