The company „Almi “with seat in the upper-Austrian Oftering close Linz, ranks among the prominent manufacturers of high-quality spice mixtures and additives for the sausage, meat, ham and fish production. At home and abroad on expansion course the enterprise established 2006 a new production work. On over 18,000 square meters manufacturing area developed an ultramodern production plant. In the course of the new building comprehensive measures were converted for the safety device and increase of quality and customer satisfaction. The new enterprise is aligned after IFS, ISO-9001 and HACCP standards. Numerous certificates confirm the constant and high quality „of the Almi “- products.

The new plant contains most modern bulk material technology, whose planning, supply and assembly accomplished engineers Johann Daxner GmbH. Daxner is specialized in the development of total concepts for machines and plants in the bulk material industry. As partner of the company Daxner S+S Separation and Sorting Technology supplied HACCP conformal investigation of the Almi products Metalldetektoren to IFS and and - separators for the employment to mill, mixing, filling over, packaging and small component lines. Metal separators of the series RAPIDLY 5000 were inserted with the Bigbag filling.

With the selection of the metal search technology it was particularly important for „Almi “that the requirement catalogs were fulfilled by HACCP and IFS. Metal separators of the series RAPIDLY 5000 detect and separate magnetic and non-magnetic metal particles (also metal inclusions) from free-falling bulk materials. The impurities are separated by a fast-reacting separating flap („Quick Flap system “) with minimum loss at property material. The devices can be adapted by the modular structure e.g. by the installation by distance pieces to different heads locally.

For the employment of the S+S of devices of them was decisive „Hygienic Design “, i.e. the mechanical structure of the metal separators considers the special hygenic requirements of the foodstuffs industry. The tubular separating mechanics do not exhibit critical edges or paragraphs. Back pressure and blockages in the pressure line also with schlechtrieselfähigen spice mixtures are almost impossible. In the round separating mechanics no material deposits, „nests so mentioned can form “. Incrustations or fungus growth are avoided thereby. In order to become fair the requirement after simple accesibility of the devices for maintenance and cleaning, the separating mechanics in „Easy Clean were conceived “- execution. Since during the filling of the spice mixtures inflammable types of dust can develop, the RAPID-5000-Geräte is certified after ATEX zone 20.

A special challenge with the investigation of the individual spice mixtures represented very strongly varying intrinsic conductivity (product effect) to of them. Around optimal palpation sensitivity to reach the equipment parameters must be adapted to the different product mixtures. The superordinate commodity management (ERP system) communicates by Ethernet interface the equipment parameters for the respective product load to the metal separator. A further capability characteristics, which distinguishes the S+S of devices, is the high detection accuracy in the product. The tax and control unit GENIUS use consistently the advantages of digital signal processing on the multi-frequency basis in optimal interaction with the detection coil. Even for Metalldetektoren spices which can be examined with difficulty are compensated and best values with palpation sensitivity are reached. Over the log function of the metal separators all events with date and time can be reconstructed. All relevant data to the logging and traceability are passed on by the tax and control unit to the commodity management. The analysis of the bad material supplies important realizations over the source of the pollution (supplier, machine wear among other things). For this reason with „Almi “its own station was furnished for the re-examination of the bad material.
