GermanRussian Workshop to innovations in the university management
Professors and high-level personnel of the national University of Tomsk (TSU) informed to the FHM Bielefeld about innovations in the university management.

Of 4. by 12 December the nationally recognized, private professional school of the middle class (FHM) could a Russian delegation of ten professor inside and professors as well as high-level personnel from the university administration of the national University of Tomsk (TSU) on the Campus welcome. The guests informed in the context of a national Russian project ten days long comprehensively about innovative strategies of the university management and - marketing after the model of private professional schools in Germany.
With seven Dekanen and three institute leaders the national University of Tomsk (TSU) had sent a very high-ranking delegation to Germany, which informed locally about the German university system. „We were pleased much, occupied with scientifically so well round into the dialogue to step “, thus Professor Dr. Gerhard Klippstein, rector of the FHM. Before the background of a planned conversion to Bachelor and master courses of studies to the TSU in Russia, the European Bologna process and the experiences of the FHM with the new conclusions formed a further emphasis of the discussions. The representatives of the TSU showed special interest in addition at possible co-operation forms between university and economics. Projects in line with standard usage from the ranges teachings, research and scientific further training to the FHM and their institutes were exemplarily presented in this connection.
The national University of Tomsk (TSU) belongs to the prominent universities in Russia and orients themselves at the Humboldt education ideal. For this reason created university - in particular within the range of the Geisteswissenschaften - maintains the 1878 traditionally good connections to Germany and cooperates among other things with universities in Passau, Freiburg, Bamberg, Berlin, Heidelberg and Munich. „Russia already could us that we have the opportunity also today in the context of our attendance, be inspired in the past of the German poets and philosophers and we be pleased from German partners to to learn “, stressed Professor Yury Petrov, Dekan of the art and culture faculty of the TSU.
Discussions formed the conclusion of the Workshops over a future institutional exchange between the two universities. „The intensive and constructional discussions in the context of our GermanRussian Workshops represent the ideal basis for common projects in the future “, stressed Professor Dr. Richard notice, to managing directors of the FHM. Like that a return visit of the German university is planned in the Siberian Tomsk for the next year. In addition as the first common project the development of a common course of studies within the range of computer science was already discussed.

The nationally recognized, private professional school of the middle class (FHM) Bielefeld qualifies aimed technical and high-level personnel for the medium-size economy. The study concept contains a short study duration, a high practice orientation, small study groups and an individual support. The current study offer covers the Bachelor and diploma courses of studies marketing and management, health economy, handicraft management, computer science management, medium economy and medium communication & journalism as well as numerous master courses of studies. The FHM with its institutes within the ranges scientific further training, business startup and enterprise follow-up sets further emphasis at home and abroad.
